A safe and supportive place to call home
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a NDIS support where a person with a disability is assisted to live independently or in a dedicated share house.
SIL residents receive support with everyday tasks like cleaning, cooking, and personal care, developing their skills and capacity to live as independently as possible.
A place to call home with all the support you need.
According to your needs and goals, Australian Capacity Builders experienced team will work with your healthcare team to assess and establish the best home environment for you.
Australian Capacity Builders goal is to help you to live and grow as an independent individual
How does SIL work?
Australian Capacity Builders has a range of properties that can be adapted and equipped to support you to live either independently or in a household with housemates. Each household is different, and we work as a team to establish a good match for you with both housemates and your support worker team.
Supported Independent Living is funded under Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Life in your NDIS plan. Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is for people with very high needs who require specialist housing. SDA is assessed and funded separately to SIL through Capital Supports.
If you have Supported Independent Living in your NDIS Plan and need some assistance from Bradannii have the expertise and the supportive network to work with your care team.
